Elsie plays 4 different sports. She does tennis, hockey, flag football, and track and field.
During the winter Elsie plays hockey for the Minneapolis High School Girls Hockey team. This year she plays on both JV and Varsity.
She also plays for the Minnesota Ice Cougars. She’s on the 14U West Silver team.
Her favorite sport is hockey because she has been “…playing it the longest.”
Last spring, she played flag football and track at the same time.
She participated in the 1st year of Girls Flag Football in Minnesota. She was a quarterback for the varsity team. For the 1st season the team finished 4-4.
Last year was her 1st year running track. During the season she ran the 800 and 1600 meters.
This fall, Sunday October 5th, 2025, Elsie ran the Twin Cities Marathon. Originally she was just going to stop at 14 miles near Mello-Glaze, but she kept on going. She continued to run “because the crowds were really awesome..” and she felt as though she would be able to finish.
After she finished the marathon she was talking about going to hockey later that night.
Elsie also plays tennis in the fall. This year she was on varsity after only having been playing for 2 years.
Outside of sports, Elsie is the literal nicest person ever. She always has a smile on her face and is trying to put one on others. You can often find Elsie hanging out with family and friends. She also excels in school and always has good grades.
