
Marquis Bowie is the front desk security monitor, responsible for checking students in and out of Roosevelt during school hours by making sure students punch in so the school knows who’s there and who isn’t there.
Marquis Bowie is one of, if not the first person, that almost everyone sees when entering the school due to him being at the front desk and being the person who makes sure students check in, but there is less known information about Marquis. One example of this lesser-known information is that Marquis is an author who wrote the book Mad Dog. There are quite a few unknown facts about Marquis, and a light will be shed on some of these facts through an interview with Marquis himself.
Marquis, after being asked for his biggest accomplishment, said that it was being a father and a husband. Marquis was also asked for his education experience, which he responded with being a chairside dental assistant. Marquis was also asked about his most joyful moment, which he says was giving back to his community with his book Mad Dogs.
Marquis has done much of interest with his life but now wants to inspire others to not live in the past and help others. Marquis overall feels blessed with being able to help others and finds joy in giving back to his community.
